Why do you have an FAQ page? It's not like you're that well-known.
Yeah, yeah, I know. Well, I made this one because I like going through other blogs' FAQ page (it's one of the first things I look for when visiting a blog), and because I'm that pretentious.

Is Sarah-Mayy even your real name? If not, what is?
Nope, but it soon will be! Maybe if you asked nicely, I'd tell you.

Whatever. Where are you from?
I'm half Arab, half Asian. I can understand Arabic and a little bit of Tagalog, but as far as speaking goes, I suck (really!).

What's your blog about?
What it really does is house my many thoughts on life, purpose and whatever other pseudo-intellectual shit you can come up with, but mostly my ideas on fashion, personal development and relationships. I'm not an expert in these areas, but what I do try to offer is a different perspective. In the near future, I'll most likely put up outfit posts. Not because I want to fit in or anything, psshh -nervous laugh-. There are times when I put an outfit together and am impressed with my work, and I want people to take inspiration from it all.

What do you do in your free time?
I love going through fashion and personal development blogs and web/graphic design resources. I like to read about philosophers and the theories they came up with, then I move on to Googling the many doubts I have about life, reason and purpose. Being a Muslim, I try to learn as much as possible about Islam, too. Occasionally, I'll head to the Jumeirah/the mall and people-watch my day through, with a book or best friend for company. I'm crazy about go-karting too, so if you live in Dubai and are up for a challenge, let me know!

Will you link to my blog?
As is evident on my blog, a 'blogroll' does not exist. If, in the near future, I decide to put one up, it will be compiled of blogs that I believe are overflowing with valuable, information-rich content and blogs that I read on a daily basis, so feel free to give me the link to your blog, but I cannot guarantee that it will appear on my non-existent blogroll.

I'm new to Dubai and need a friend, will you be mine?
Sure, why not?! I'm very open when it comes to meeting new people, though I may come off as shy at times. But it's not enough to stop me from interacting with new, interesting people, so feel free to hit me up on Twitter/my e-mail!

Are you this friendly/nice/approachable in real life?
I'd like to think so. I do get intimidated by people sometimes, so I tend to remain quiet/maintain a constipated look, and I think that gives off a bad first impression, but I'm awesome as hell once I open up! :D

How tall are you?
Last time I checked (which was back in 2007), I was 5'5".
